Ce que l’acheteur doit savoir
Who it suits
Lake and river use in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, for an owner who wants a well-finished small boat with seating for seven and does not need to leave sheltered water. The shallow-draught framing the builder uses is the clearest signal of intent: this is a boat for creeks, reedbeds and quiet bays rather than for open coast.
The price deserves scrutiny
Ninety-four thousand eight hundred euros is a serious figure for a 6.5 m open boat, and it puts the MY-Vento above several fast electric day boats of similar or greater length. That may well be justified by build quality and by the degree of customisation MY-Electroboat offers — the yard's whole approach is bespoke fit-out rather than volume production — but it is a price at which a buyer is entitled to a complete specification, and does not currently get one.
The unpublished battery
MY-Electroboat's spec widget displays "0 kWh". That is a placeholder, not a measurement; the capacity is simply not published. Without it, the 50 kW motor tells you nothing about how long you can use the boat, and no comparison with a competitor is possible. Before any deposit, ask for battery capacity in kWh, usable versus nominal, chemistry, top speed, range at cruising speed, charging time and what the €94,800 includes — specifically whether that is with VAT and with a battery of the size you were shown.
